Yes, it's the first event in our Aussie Going For Gold Week, where we are getting into the patriotic spirit and deciding what is the best of the best.

Even though it didn't get a medal, I am pleased that Kylie's best song got a guernsey in the "final". (I would also have accepted "Fever", "Made in heaven" or "One boy girl".)
Do you like it due to the wonky "hand, hand hand hand, hand" bit in some versions? I LOVE those.
The only bad bit of it is her rushed way of singing the words "do you wanna" in the second verse (ie "do you wanna, lose our love together").
It sounds like "Tijuana". Which I suppose is good in a sense.

Ooh, I like *MANY* Hand On Your Heart mixes. But I would give the Gold Medal to The Great Aorta Mix, which not only has 'Hand, hand, hand, hand, hand,' but an acapela opening. It is quite spectacular.
Hand On Your Heart is Kylie's finest work though. It really did deserve a medal...I think actually Kylie will have her own 'event', in our Olympics.

I love that acapella opening as well, to the GA mix - those harmonies are so lovely! To be honest I like any SAW stuff where you can clearly hear the backing vocalists' perfect harmonies. There's a chorus towards the end of Jason's "Nothing can divide us" where they turn Jason's voice off and just have the girls, and it is the best bit of the whole song.

Remember though I said that it's too bad I hate her now because she'll be featuring heavily in Aussie Going For Gold Week? I have a feeling she's be making a few more gold medal runs too.
